Patricia L. Newell, MA, LMHC has dedicated the past 25 years to the study of substance abuse as it affects the lives of preschool through school aged children. A researcher and family therapist, she has inspired audiences at trainings and conferences across the U.S. and Canada. She lives on the island of Martha’s Vineyard.

Marguerite M. Sheehan, M Ed served the early-childhood community for over 30 years, early on as a Head Start teacher and program director, and later as a Pre-K community consultant and specialist. Currently practicing as a Unitarian minister, she lives in Western MA ... and is recently a grandma for the first time!

Kenny Lockwood, MFA is a professional recording artist (Tin Angel and Strong Love) and illustrator extraordinaire. His commitment to children living with addiction is brilliantly displayed in his magical illustrations. He lives in New York City.
